Regional banking organization, Al Baraka Team, has gained approval from the Monetary Marketplace Council to buy of 270,000 stocks of the Islamic insurance coverage corporation El Amana Takaful.
This stake of nineteen.15% in El Amana is purchased from the Tunisian-Eu Insurance coverage and Reinsurance Corporate (CARTE) that bought 180,000 stocks (12.77%) and CARTE Lifestyles which disposed of 90,000 stocks (6.38%).
Previous to the purchase, Al Baraka Team already held 29.77% of the capital of El Amana, in line with knowledge at the takaful corporation’s site.
The deal, which is a part of the Al Baraka Team’s expansion plan, must permit the Team to diversify its services and products and reply higher to buyer wishes.
El Amana used to be established in 2013 through Al Baraka Team and several other insurance coverage and reinsurance corporations within the Tunisian marketplace.
